About Jamie
Rabbi Jamie Field was ordained in 2024 from HUC-JIR in New York. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Jamie left the West Coast after high school to attend Boston University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Religion. After college, she worked at Washington Hebrew Congregation as their Curriculum Coordinator for two years before moving to Jerusalem for her first year of rabbinical school. She spent the 2021-2022 school year as a student rabbi in High Point, North Carolina. She spent her final two years of school as the Rabbinic Intern at Community Synagogue of Rye. In her free time, she enjoys watching Jeopardy, looking for antiques, and perfecting her challah recipe. Jamie received her Masters of Hebrew Literature from HUC-JIR in the spring of 2023. She now lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She is blessed to consider Beth El Temple Center in Belmont her spiritual home, where she works as their Director of Education. Rabbi Jamie Field is available to officiate weddings, lifecycle events, and other Jewish rituals in Boston and beyond.
